This morning we finally got our lost luggage, thanks to Donna who taxied out to the airport bright and early to sort it out. Once we got everything packed up, we bussed out to Sterling to learn about the Bannockburn Battle in 1314. This is when Scotland became a nation.
Close by was the stunning Sterling Castle. It was once the home of kings and queens. Filled with many galleries, gardens, historic information, and cannons.
We visited the home of Hamish and Honey, the Highland coos. We made a pitstop to take pictures of breath-taking vistas and further on at Glencoe Natural Nature Reserve. The rest of the way we were entertained by the sights of the highlands outside our windows. We are now winding down, preparing for to take on another day of adventures.
