We started today by leaving the beautiful city of London and went to Oxford to see the historic university. After that we went to Stratford-upon-Avon and saw the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Then we went off to his wife’s Anne Hathaway’s childhood home and learnt about her and we took lots of photos in her large garden. After that we were off to our hotel to spend the rest of the day relaxing and catching up on some much needed sleep. Donna asked us to come up with 2 “warm fuzzies” about each of our group members and we shared them after supper. It was a great way for us to show our appreciation for our fellow travelers! Lots of history today, but also more spectacular views and scenic walks down some old, old towns.
