April 28 Jana WilkieApril 29, 2022 Uncategorized No Comments Today we packed up our bags and headed into the bus at 8:15am to County Kerry on our way there we stopped to take a picture at the Cashel, it looks just like Repunzels castle but it’s actually a collection of churches. The places we travelled through today are very lush in greenery because the raising and breeding of race horses and cattle farming that are huge in this area. After that we visited Cathal, our tour director’s home town, Cork. It has a population of 250,000 and the original city was built on an island that we had free time in to explore. We then went to the Blarney castle and a lot of us climbed the many narrow stairs and kissed the stone and got our first kiss At the Blarney Stone which gives you the gift of Negotiation/Gab. Another tale is that if you kiss the Blarney Stone it gives you the gift of luck and love. We then went to the largest Irish shop in the world and helped their economy. We were then back on our bus to County Kerry. We finally made it to our hotel! It’s called meadowlands hotel Tralee tonight our supper was either Saturday fish and chips, pasta, or bacon and dessert was either ice cream, fruit bowl, or a really fancy Tim-bit.
